SHAKER TABLE

This modern-themed shaker table was a really fun project where I was able to learn many new skills and test the abilities I have. I felt the making went very well and was tested on my accuracy on keeping everything square such as the tapered legs which I had to produce using a Jack-Plane. I also did some edged to edge jointing using biscuits to align the panels together which was a great task to learn when making larger solid panels; I also love how the grain matched up almost perfectly allowing the grain pattern to flow through.

If I were to improve this design I would have liked to incorporate some white oak inlay along the table top and legs to match with and contrast with the drawer sides.
