SCALE MODEL-HIGH SLEEPER BED

Being a design project I was required to pick and design any piece of furniture applying all kinds of methods to reach a final idea in which I was able to scale down and make a model.
I was aiming for a clean and contemporary styled bed so I decided to go along with plywood which is a very simple yet strong man-made board. Having used plywood I didn't feel the need to apply any kind of finishing of the surface other than a light sand and felt the layers of the plywood gave the piece some aesthetics in a simple yet updated manner. I felt the piece came together very well and loved how everything fit together perfectly thanks to my CAD designing which gave me the required measurements.
Although I felt the plywood looked fairly nice on its own, I feel a nice piece of rippled sycamore veneer would have enhanced the piece much more.
