OAK STOOL

The brief for this traditional styled piece was to construct an oak stool with an upholstered seat and the inclusion of custom designed details to enhance the aesthetics of the product.
I was extremely happy with the outcome of my stool; I felt the rich red leather worked very well with the warmth of the osmo oil coating on the oak along with the traditionally themed design pieces I had attached.
The only thing I really would have liked to improve would be the wooden details which I could have added more shape to; e.g. rounding off the edges and corners giving them a much smoother and attractive appearance enhancing the overall aesthetics of the piece.
